Australia. And the highs in Sydney were in the low 70s. It's winter there. Everyone (except us) was wearing winter clothes -- heavy coats, boots, etc. For sightseeing we wore shorts and t-shirts. I considered bringing a coat because our hosts were telling us how cold the weather there is. :floor:

:wave: thanks for the shout out, Kurty! Mr. K and I escaped the hellhole yesterday and landed in Highlands, NC! I am wearing a WC sweatshirt over my pjers (much swankier look than the standard issued bathrobe!). Going hiking to see waterfalls today, but will not forget to say a prayer for all my peeps I left behind in HELL! 😀

Been in the high 90's with heat indexes over 100 for weeks here in north Alabama. My phone sends me a heat advisory every day! So I sure feel everyone's pain. Come on fall!

Horrible here too, heat index today over 110, we have had several heat related deaths and my power keeps coming and going, making me very nervous.

Lucky you, Ms. Kitty! Looks like it's 103-106 degrees everyday for the next 10 days here in NB! I can't take it!! I'm thinking it'd be pretty nice to be in Switzerland or Austria right now...

Kurt, I couldn't agree more! I'm going to pull up the weather in different areas & plan a COOL(er) getaway!
