Good luck today! I feel like October 10th is a good birthday. My friend Brian's birthday is today as well. And he's super nice, but way too old for you.;-)

You may not realize this, but you're being born in the MIDDLE of football season. And your mom wasn't worried about you being too big, she just didn't want to risk missing the game Saturday. And your sweet mom may try to tell you to be a Gator fan, but chances are her team will lose this weekend. So let's make a deal...If Auburn beats Florida, your mom has to raise you as an Auburn tiger. Ok? I think it's a deal. Tell her you like the more tasetful orange and blue. I think she'll understand. Gator blue doesn't work on everyone.

So let us know how your first day here goes. And tell your mom to post lots and lots of pictures of you. I'm sure you're just adorable and rocking a lot of pink.

And how big did you end up being? Your mom was saying you were going to be big. Spill it sister!

Hello everyone and thanks for the good wishes!!!

Sorry it's taken so long ... but I've barely had a hand free (and little sleep). Lots of people in and out. Finally alone with the laptop!

Katiefunn arrived just before 4 p.m. yesterday ... 8 lbs, 12 ounces and a week early. She really didn't want to come out but once I reminded her about the Auburn game she finally relented. She is really cute and looks just like her big brothers did when they were newborns (although maybe all newborns look alike, what the heck do I know). Big Brother No. 1 is proud, Big Brother No. 2 is wary. Daddy stayed here at the hospital last night but wisely chose to go home this evening. Katiefunn and I are staying here until tomorrow. I am feeling pretty well and she is doing great.

I promise to post 1 or 2 pics when we get home and I have the proper downloading tools. Forgot them :roll: You all are the best. Thank you for your wonderful kind words! Maybe we'll be lucky and celebrate her first birthday in SoWal next year!
