This whole child/infant beauty pageant thing just sick IMO. Who benefits from this other than the promoters who appeal to parents' vanity?

Anybody else seen this train wreck? I've only seen clips, but these people are nuts. Thus far my favorite OMC did she just say that quote:

"We allow 2 piece bathing suits, but no thongs" a pageant organizer for 4-6 year olds. :shock:

There is another one, do not remember the name, that is mostly people from Central Florida and Georgia that is pretty interesting.

I think they should have a representative from DFS at every event that features children under the age of 18 - pageants, sports, etc.

The way some of these kids are treated, driven, and browbeaten is insane.

I hate to say this, but, I hope that they keep a close watch over these kids, because the predators probably are! Idiot parents!

There is another one, do not remember the name, that is mostly people from Central Florida and Georgia that is pretty interesting.

That one was 'Little Miss Perfect', which also did a couple of pageants in North Carolina, IIRC. I think it was more of a trainwreck than 'Toddlers' and ma hoping they'll do another season of it.

Ugggg. All I can think of is that infamous and tragic case over ten years ago. Remember the six year old pageant queen Jon Benet Ramsey, murdered during the holidays in Boulder, Colorado? She was about the same age as my children so I remember it well. I hate child pageants. It's unnatural. I bet the little girls hate it, too.
