Tourist Development Tax collection showed a 9.47% increase in South Walton for July 2026 compared with the previous year. Total collections for July in South Walton were $13,251,786.59. FY26 YTD (Oct-July) South Walton is up 10.56% in TDT collections.
TDT collection on short-term rental accommodations north of the Choctawhatchee Bay totaled $46,297.46 for July 2026. Collections for July in North Walton represent a 15.39% increase, or $4,116.53, compared with the previous year. FY26 YTD (Oct-July) North Walton is up 3.78% in TDT collections.
As of Sept. 10, the number of active rental units in the South Walton taxing district was 19,414, and the North Walton taxing district was 852 for a total of 20,266.
