Vacation Schedules

SoWal at least twice a month....if not more! We are trying to get the Watersound completed. It should be by early summer.

I'm trying to get a trip up to New York in May or June....anybody want to join me?! I need to go furniture shopping for the new house. Mango are you gonna come stay with me? I'm staying at my friends apartment again.

We only have a couple of short trips planned so far:

Las Vegas again Baby! weekend of December 14th for FFF's b'day and Celine Dion's final concert on the 15th....yes, he got tickets!!! :roll:

3500 engineers just in Chicago???? Yikes! I'm afraid I haven't been watching the news much lately - must have missed that story. I hope his job is safe JR. And that you make it to Sowal, too!!!!!

I think it is 1,500 layoffs. I had the # wrong. They do this every couple of years. Have huge layoffs, clean house, then hire younger, college graduates at a much cheaper rate after a year or so. Mr. JR has always survived the layoffs, but the downfall to all this is he ends up having to work more hours to replace the ones they've laid off. Sort of a catch 22. We just get nervous and vacations, large purchases, have to be put on hold.

What happened to March?

I think March has morphed into April; just found out I have to work--yes, I said work--at the end of the month, so that puts us into April.

June 9-16 back to the Grayton duplex a stone's throw from Washaway. Then we move out and move into John R's while he's in the mountains, ostensibly to care for his dogs and house, but really to use the washer and dryer.

I'm going to see Whiteyfunn the last weekend in March in Nashvegas - and yes, jfunn, you can ride with me but you can't play with us the whole time- you girls would tag team me (and you know you would) - and that wouldn't be too much funn for me!!!
