hi all.

My husband's favorite performer, Van Morrison, is going to be at Chastain in ATL on 4/28. We didn't know about the show and now it's sold out, of course. We've been trying to see him for years. I check his Web site, but this tour date was never posted.:bang:

If anyone has any idea where I can find tickets, please let me know. I can't afford to pay the broker prices of $245/ticket for lawn seats.

Any help would be appreciated!!

THANKS!!

Me, too.

Turns out a friend may be able to come through with tickets! In fact, if Olive can get off work, she's going with us!

I asked the program director of the radio station i work for for Van tickets (which I can't afford), and he said even he won't be able to get any, for him or the listeners, as they sold out in seconds. (He's probably giving me Roger Waters tix as a consolation, which works for me...)

Back in the '80s I used to climb the trees near the amphitheatre to "catch" shows there for free! Bet that's not an option anymore! I can still climb a tree, mind you, but it's a whole new world... bet they have snipers planted up there these days. ;-)

I love Van also. When I think of him the first thing that comes to mind is:
Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child.:clap_1:
