Could someone please give me the name of a vet/boarding in the Seagrove Beach area?...or close enough to visit our pets......Thanks!

There aren't any vets or kennels actually in Seagrove.
You can board at Emerald Coast Kennel. They are just off 98, near the Whitney Bank and French Laundry. For a vet, we use Gulf Winds Animal Hospital in Panama City Beach, on 79 just north of 98. Groom at either Emerald Coast or at Happy Tails in PCB.

If anyone knows of a place that will board a duck, I'd appreciate that info as well...in case my duck-sitter is ever unavailable. I'm serious...:shock:

Your best shot with a duck might be seeing if Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge could handle it in exchange for a donation.

This is great... actually BeachMouse has the right idea.
If you haven't already called the refuge, call Amanda at 650-1880 and tell her that Diane sent you... Really. Plus the donation thing will "ice the cake!"
If for some reason that doesn't work let me know your dates and I'll be able to help. Us SoWal'rs have to stick together! ;-)

Interesting...thanks for the advice and the babysitting offer! I don't plan to go anywhere soon, but my grandmother is really ill right now. The duck has already been to Atlanta this summer and she travels exceptionally well but if I had to go for a funeral, I'd def. need someone who knows what to do with her.
