Just kidding, I am training for an adventure race. This Saturday morning at Ft Yargo State Park between Athens and Atlanta. No more training. My legs are killing me. I'm sitting on my duff till that dagum race

Seems to me you were saying the same thing about your legs killing you when you were gearing up for your winter ski trip out West. I think you like you like doing yourself in!!

BTW, we love going through Chatanooga on our SoWal trips. The mountains there are gorgeous and so is the river. :clap_1:

What's the route for the race? Are you taking Hwy 29 from Yargo to Atlanta? Let me know. I'll come hand you a cold beer as you cycle through Gwinnett county.

Not sure, I'm staying in Marietta Friday night and riding to the race with a "local" (friend of mine that moved to Atlanta a couple of years ago) and my other team mate. Come see us. Should be a good laugh if anything 😀

I tried to google to find out the route. Got zip, nada. I would be surprised if you didn't come down 29. That's a pretty "straight shot" from Ft. Yargo to Atlanta. I will pray for some cooler temps for you. The past few days have been wicked hot and the air quality sucks right now!

The Race Route is secret until they give us a map and it will be confined to Ft Yargo. I have no idea of the route my team mates will drive. Quickest way from Marietta to Ft Yargo.... where ever that is :idontno:

Well, you have my cell number call us if you get "lost". By the way, it was 87 at 8:30 a.m. today. We are about to get a little rain though. Maybe it'll cool things down. I hope so.
