Vinyl Plank Flooring

New construction in phase one. Flooring debate on going. Does anyone have personal experience with The new Vinyl Plank flooring v. Engineered wood or tile?

We just did our whole first floor in Atlanta with vinyl plank and actually replaced real hardwood with it. We like it a lot.

I would imagine vinyl is better for pet messes of various varieties. Do you think that's the case?

Fortunately, no accidents, but bullmastiffs do leave trails of water from their bowls. Yes, it's waterproof, very durable, self floating. Much easier to keep clean than carpet. The dogs pretty much tore up the real wood
