It's called the "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign.

Basically it encourages the customers of Wal-Mart to be vigilant in their suspicions of fellow citizens.

I see that Wal-mart has done more to ruin the American way of life than Al Quaeda, so I am saying something.

Destruction of the American Way of Life by pushing companies to move factory production offshore to China in order to meet price targets comes to mind.

so you think that walmart pushes companies to move overseas? take it from a international distributor, thats not the case at all. i know we're fed this nonsense everyday but one shouldnt believe everything we're told. just ask harry reid about the new &500 million stimulus going to a chinese company to build and run wind turbines...in china. and this from the party that accuses everyone else of pushing jobs overseas?

With Walmart customers not being the brightest to begin with, I see this being implemented with racial profiling as the only component.

What the article doesn't mention is the amount of money that Homeland Security is probably shoveling money at Wal-Mart to run this campaign.

Also why Wal-Mart, only true Fox News watching patriots shop there, everybody knows that the terrorists only shop at K-Mart.

Excuse my doulbing over in laughter at that assertion.

Apologies for linking to a hella-biased source, but the underlying facts on Walmart doing just that in the following case studies are correct. You just need to wade through some irritating POV to get there.

wow! so walmart "squeezes" their supplier so they can offer inexpensive products to america and its them that push the jobs overseas? allow me to inform you that if these companies could produce products at compeditive rates the wouldnt have to leave the states. and if these companies can keep walmart as a customer, and why wouldnt they, of course they move overseas. and the reason why they cant produce compeditively is because of the big government burden. it seams that every month i hear of a factory closing up manufacturing and moving it to china. and thats solely on high tax burden, high labor costs mainly due to union intervention and rediculous government regulation that mostly has nothing to do with safety. We have one of the highest corporate tax rates on the planet and that in itself if a major contributor to this problem. if you want to blame anyone, blame your democratic party that says one thing and does another. and blame your unions. perfect example, car manufacturers moving out of detroit and moving to texas, alabama, georgia and miss because of having low tax burden and no union intervention. and by the way, walmarts prices are based on the quantity they purchase and how they are able to turn around the sale of all these products before they even have to pay the tab.

i too used to blame walmart in my younger days, but it only took some realistic knowledge and real life experience to make me understand. i still wont go there though

but what do i know, i only do this everyday of my life....

So if it's all about those 'evil labor unions' how do you explain the implosion of the extremely non-union low regulation Carolinas furniture industry?

Never said unions are evil. Slogans dont work with me. The original design of unions was great. Unfortunately, modern day union bosses havent a clue. Just today the union boss for the AFL-CIA accepted an award from the communist party saying "I stand with them". These meatheads think that by pushing companies out of business because of rediculous pay and pensions that somehow they are looking out for the working man. These guys have no clue on how business works and its the workers like many in my family in new england that suffer in the end.

Not sure about the Carolinas furniture industry. Ive heard alittle about it and now Im interested so for that Im grateful to you for bringing it up. I assure you Im able to get an insight on this. Keep in mind though, high tax burden and overkill regulation alone can and does cripple industry here in the states. Unions are just the icing on the cake Im afraid.

The mister knows one of the managers at local highish end chain furniture store. They've pretty much had to move the majority of their production offshore because of price pressure from the Ashleys of the world.

A directive encouraging a naturally suspicious customer base to act on their suspicions. if that's not throwing gasoline on a fire, then what is?
