Visit South Walton is now accepting 2022 Walton County Artist of the Year submissions!

Through the annual Artist of the Year program, they promote the destination's thriving art community while placing the spotlight on one talented artist.

The online application with instructions can be found at waltoncountyaoy.com.

Any artist who has lived in Walton County since January 2021 and/or has owned and operated an art gallery or studio with the primary headquarters in Walton County since then may qualify for this award!

The deadline for submissions for the Artist of the Year program will be Friday, Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. The winner will be announced during the Perfect in South Walton Awards presentation in January 2022.

ABOUT THE AWARD​

Through our annual Artist of the Year program, the Walton County Tourism Department promotes the destination’s thriving art community while placing the spotlight on one talented artist. Each artist is recognized with the designation of “Artist of the Year” and is commissioned to create a special piece of artwork for Walton County. These artworks can be found hanging in the South Walton Annex, the Visit South Walton Visitor Center and Conference Room, and other public places throughout the county.

We are now accepting applications for the 2022 Walton County Artist of the Year. To apply, please complete the application form below before 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17.
