That's a great idea! That way I'd be sure to spot you. We are staying in Dune Allen. I've never been to the Red Bar for lunch on Sunday but if the weather isn't cooperating & I can borrow someone's car, you may see me there!

Kat, I'll stop in if I see the jeep for sure. I made a mental note of that from an earlier thread. I test drove a red Jeep Liberty and my heart still aches a little for it but I had to be practical. Making long car trips with 2 kiddos is much easier in a minivan equipped with dvd player and lots of space. So if anyone sees a gold town&country mv with ohio plates, sowal sticker and BSW sticker on the back...wave us down.

OL this is my 5th Jeep....I've had everyone they've made. My first was a black Wrangler that I
used to zoom up and down 30-A and drive on Grayton Beach back in the early 90's. Those were the days. I actually ran my Grand Cherokee to 300,000 miles and literally crawled into the dealership in Mobile on my way to New Orleans and rode out with a shiny Red Liberty. It's funn! But really too small....I never have enough room for all the girls my daughter hangs with, and they aren't crazy about riding in Dad's Big Truck.

I'll keep my eye out for you. I know you are so excited to get here. :clap_1: :clap_1:

OL, I can feel your excitement, makes me almost feel like I'm getting ready to go. The anticipation of going on a trip is half the funn. Enjoy yourself.

If you can do what the Kitty says about packing you'll be golden! I try but have never achieved her method yet. Even if I pack ahead of time, I give in to a last minute frenzy.

Otherwise, I know you are going to have a fabulous trip! Everything was so beautiful when we were down a couple of weeks ago. As pretty as we've ever seen it! I hope you get to meet lots of SoWallers. Have a safe trip down. It'll go fast so relax and soak it all in! :clap_1:

Re: the packing thing. Hot summers are easier. You know you won't need pants or long sleeves or jackets. This time of year is tricky...I feel like I need to bring it all! I'll try to limit it! That is so true though, I usually wear what I love and the rest sits in the bottom of the suitcase.

Well, the anticipation of going! That's what's exciting.

OL, have a wonderful, safe, funn trip!!!!! Take pictures, and make sure you have a journal so you can write a detailed trip report when you go home! I hope the sun is bright, I hope the stars are brite, and I hope the moon is bright, all in your honor!!!!! :clap_1: :clap_1:
