We are gonna stay up all night every night and par-tay! :lie: :biggrin: Actually, I'm a lot like Audie. If it's sunny we'll be working on our tans at the beach or by the pool. I can't wait to meet some of you! :clap_1: We'll be staying at the [B]Palms of Seagrove [/B]arriving a week from today. 3/31-4/7. Dread is playing at the Red Bar on Sunday, 4/1, you with me? ...for me this is the devil!!!! All those last minute things to take care of. I get excited when I get in a fully loaded car...loaded by Mr. Kitty of course, I don't do it right.

We are in that boat together Miss K! I hate the loading and unloading at both ends of the trip. :bang:

Last trip down I had to do the last minute loading. I picked FBB up at the office. Then on the return trip, I packed the whole load up myself. FBB didn't even complain! I think he was in shock. :funn:

You too eh? I pack/plan for four people basically. I get totally stressed. He loads the car and thinks he's done all the work. :roll:

OL, have a wonderful, safe, funn trip!!!!! Take pictures, and make sure you have a journal so you can write a detailed trip report when you go home! I hope the sun is bright, I hope the stars are brite, and I hope the moon is bright, all in your honor!!!!! :clap_1: :clap_1:

You will have a wonderful time!!! Nothing better than the beach. As for clothes,I tend to wear the same 3 outfits no matter how many I bring.:funn: Pack what makes you feel good as it is your time! Have a drink at sunset for those wishing we were there!

Thank you gulls. I am going to try a journal this time...maybe even a little poetry. Being on the beach is so inspiring.

here's my packing advice :

pack every towel and swimsuit you own. then get the biggest suitcases you can find and cram them full of every piece of clothing you own. then you must get a basket and throw everything in your bathroom in it. finally get a basket and pack all your kitchen supplies and anything else that isn't nailed down in the house. don't forget the oversized coolers, the backpack full of books, the computer, the boys toys bag of electronics - god the list is endless !!!!

p.s. have a wonderful time....

2 more days!!! :clap_1: We leave tomorrow for Bama then just a short drive on Saturday! I have tons of movies (thanks to Mr OL's buddy at work) , books on CD, ipods charged, now if I can just get packed.

So OL, you arrive on Saturday. When do you have to depart? I am coming down very late next Thursday night for Easter weekend. Is your tar where you will be?

The OLs are here- and wandered over to Grayton to hang out. Mermy and I ambushed her and her family on the boardwalk. They are awesome- we are lucky to have them here for the week!:clap_1: We all braved the gale force winds for as long as we could- man it was fierce out there today! May hook up to see Sheryl Crow at Seabar....:roll:

WooHoo! I had lunch with the whole OL family. My kids thought we were on a blind date, since we hadn't seen them before! I could only envision the pancake bunny! We had a GRAYT lunch at the Red Bar, saw Smiling JOe, talked and talked over the tunes of Dread Clampett, so much FUNN!
Loved her on-line, loved her even more in person! Plus, my daughter has a new Im buddy!

Sheryl Crow anyone? My son thinks there will be a stuffed crow named Sheryl there!

Having a grayt time so far!!! The weather is looking up today! It's beautiful even with the red flags flying. The surf is like nothing I've seen here before!! Life guards are constantly trying to keep people out of the water! :bang:

I'll be nice and not call them the names I did while watching these PEOPLE.:roll: Mr OL was called Mr Safety before Mr OL so of course our kids were on the beach digging in the sand. And yes, digging holes must be the thing to do. Everyone is doing it and I almost fell in one this morning. Like I mentioned in another post, we always fill them in..tightly. But with red flags flying, kids need something to do. :idontno:

Parents just need to be responsible..but we all know there are too many :twisted:
