Way to go seahawks!!!

Yay Coach Davies and the boys!!!

History was made tonight. 😀

Due to brain failure I do not remember the precise score. Perhaps GraytonGirl will see this and help me out. However, the important part is:

South Walton Varsity Boy's Basketball: 50-something
PENSACOLA CATHOLIC: 50-something, but a smaller number

You'd have to follow high school sports closely to fully understand the significance of this, and how far our basketball program has truly come.

Congrats to Coach Davies and our boys!

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO SEAHAWKS!!

Yes, ShallowsNole! That basketball game was one of the most exciting sporting events I have seen in a long time. My son said that the gym noise was so loud in the 4th quarter that they could hardly think!!:lolabove:

I love it!

The final score was South Walton 54 Pensacola Catholic 51 :clap:After the game, they did this "war chant" huddle thing at center court, where they were joined by all the student fans. They got themselves into a regular frenzy! Very cool to witness!

They now have a 16-5 record and an 8 game winning streak!

All you Sowallers need to come out and support this amazing team. It's grayt entertainment and the price is right ($3 I think?).

The last home game is this coming Thursday, Jan. 29th. South Walton plays Ponce de Leon, whom they beat last week in a thrilling game in PDL. JV plays at 5:30. Varsity at 7:00 p.m. It will also be Senior Night, and the team's 3 Seniors (Jake Wright, Jordan Colson, and David Key) will be honored.
