We may be slow, but we’re not stupid

The earth is full - a good op-ed piece by Thomas Friedman, one of the few real journalists left in a field of talking heads spewing useless minutia. I believe, as Mr. Friedman says, that we are in denial about our current economic situation. While politicians wrangle for power and wealth for themselves and the corporations that donate to their campaigns, the middle and lower income families are left with ever more dwindling resources.
