Hundreds Of Former National Security Officials Condemn Trump's Behavior With Ukraine | HuffPost

In the statement released by the group National Security Action on Thursday night, the officials called Trump’s behavior “an unconscionable abuse of power” and commended the House of Representatives for opening an official impeachment inquiry into the matter. They wrote that if the reports are true, Trump’s misconduct represents “an effort to subordinate America’s national interests―and those of our closest allies and partners―to the President’s personal interest.”

I read that a while back. I was surprised that it wasn't just Republicans who have done it.

Both faux "parties" do this. Remember how Hillary scammed Bernie out of the nomination in 2016? Or in 2012, Ron Paul had momentum and was on the trajectory to get the nomination and the GOP straight up conned him out of it.

It's not about Trump but in a single issue mind who is obsessed with Trump, it can seem that way. Curious, Pop, who do you want to be the Democratic nominee?

It amazes me that a College Entrance Scandal is such a big deal to some but the possibility a politician being shady with our elections and possibly our national security and because he says he didn't do anything wrong, there are folks who buy into the BS. President Clinton was impeached for Lying Under Oath and Obstruction of Justice. Obviously the Senate didn't convict. No matter how damning the info is I can assure you the President will not resign and the Senate will not convict, and there will still be people on here who will support the President for whatever reason. I don't believe in the Grand Conspiracy Theories because there are way to many moving parts and the truth eventually gets told, whether you believe it is a different matter altogether.

I find the most interesting thing about this scandal is that there are purportedly at least ten people who listened in on this phone call and made notes in addition to the official transcript. Did these people swear an oath to defend this country or to defend Donald Trump? So ten people are looking at the other nine and wondering which one is going fold. And, of course, these people are suppose to the best and the brightest, and are suppose to be diligently defending our country against all enemies foreign and domestic. Instead, they are all lawyering-up and swimming in a sea of paranoia.

But in this case, the president provided them with a partial document that was fairly damning anyway. More to come. About the timing, the Democratic leadership were fully prepared to not impeach and remove this president by an election by the people (really the electoral college) but were forced to move for impeachment because it is there sworn duty to defend this county from all enemies, foreign and domestic. It amazes me how Trumpsters, in both this scandal and the election meddling scandal, criticize government officials for doing their jobs.

Hillary Clinton testified under oath before Congress for 11 hours. When Donald Trump testifies under oath to Congress for 11 hours, justice will be served. Until that time, this is just one big obstruction of justice campaign. Why do you think Trump refuses to let any of his aides testify before congress? If he has nothing to hide, then he should be anxious to have them testify. This isn't rocket science. This is simple human behavior. Can you think of one incident in your life when a person acted guilty to this extent and was later proven innocent?

I don’t see him acting guilty, I see a person trying to drain the swamp government. How is it the left stars off in Congress with little money and now they are all millionaires. We need term limits.
