They've had enough justification (articles) to impeach for a while now, but maybe not the motivation. Subpoenas may reveal further articles, but even if not, enough reprehensible behavior will be revealed where even some republicans will start openly saying, "eff this sh--". A very plausible leak suggests that secretly, the number of senate Republicans who want to see him go is in double digits. As time goes on, the morally repugnant president is just going to dig himself deeper and deeper with his remarks, possibly piling on a few more articles. If not, it will surely provide more motivation and make impeachment, and possibly removal from office a moral imperative to ever increasing numbers of people. If public polling suggests that 60% of the people want him impeached, then it's reasonable to think that he could actually be removed. Already it's upwards of 50%.

Even if something like that isn't grounds for impeachment (although it might be), it's just strange, paranoid, vindictive, obsessive, childish, deranged, demented behavior. When it comes time for impeachment and removal, a sne person is going to think that we've got to get this lunatic out of here. Couple that with the bona fide articles of impeachment and he might be toast.

Damn! He and his henchmen apparently were asking for help from multiple countries. Perhaps we as a nation should consider creating one or two organizations that a President could look to for covert information. They could have words like intelligence or investigation in their titles. If he had this information beforehand he wouldn’t need to clumsily seek it on his own like a keystone cop.
