Conway began the questioning by bringing up Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff's calls for respect towards witnesses. He then contrasted the guidance from Schiff, D-Calif., against Democrat-led calls to boycott Sondland's hotels in Oregon.

"The chairman also announces at every hearing that he will not tolerate, and I agree with him, any witness intimidation or any threats or any issues of trying to bully a witness," Conway said. "Congressman Earl Blumenauer, Democrat, from Oregon has in fact called for a boycott of your hotel chain or your hotels in Oregon. I'm assuming he believes that will harm you to the point that you will then be bullied into doing whatever he wants done."

Sondland agreed with Conway's statement before also confirming the congressman's assertion that Blumenauer's comments "gave rise to demonstrations at your hotels that made customers have to weave in and out of the demonstrators to try to actually get into the hotels."

"As I understand they are going on as we speak," Sondland responded.

Last week, it was Democrats sounding the alarm over alleged witness intimidation when President Trump live-tweeted ridicule of former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch as she was testifying on Friday.
This is once again an example of failure to comprehend. One is a form protest the other is a possible threat of physical harm and Schiff is speaking to retaliation by officials. The army is not providing security for Lt. Col. Vindman because some low life might boycott him.

Gym Jordan just accused the Dems of using “National Enquirer” garbage in the 2016 election. Wasn’t it the National Enquirer who spent a small fortune on catch and kill services for the Rapist president and when he became president destroyed a treasure trove of incriminating evidence collected to shield him?

Remember every day.

Mulvaney -
The look-back to what happened in 2016 certainly was part of the thing that [Trump] was worried about in corruption with that nation. And that is absolutely appropriate, Did he also mention to me in passing the corruption related to the DNC server? Absolutely. No question about that. But that’s it, and that’s why we held up the money.”

Jon Karl-
“It is funding will not flow unless the investigation into the Democratic server happened?”

Mulvaney-
We do that all the time with foreign policy. Get over it. There’s going to be political influence in foreign policy… That is going to happen. Elections have consequences.”

Mulvaney refused to testify under oath.

I just look at the so-called phone "transcript" that Trump released. In and of itself, it is grounds for impeachment. Everything else just colors it in.

Put another way, based on the "transcript" Trump is guilty of impeachable offenses. If one single piece of testimony or evidence would contradict this assertion, I might change my mind. So far, everything I've heard is corroborative.

Jim Jordan was imposed on us for egregiously partisan reasons. Now he’s afflicting the nation.
When Jordan slithers out from under his rock each morning, dons a shirt and tie - sans the jacket, lest he be mistaken for Joe McCarthy - his life’s work is to besmirch everything America stands for in service of Donald Trump.

If it takes undermining yet another principle of democracy by condoning attacks on men and women who have devoted their lives in honorable service to this country, Jordan is always ready and willing.

If it takes changing the Trump defense strategy on an almost daily basis because facts keep getting in the way, Jordan is the ideal bootlicker. Trump’s support is all that seems to matter to the man former House Speaker John Boehner regularly referred to as "a legislative terrorist” – along with a whole bunch of other descriptions unfit for print.

Trump is a as shady as they come, but the hypocrisy and irony isnt lost on me. Rosemont appears to have benefited while Joe was in office, in fact it looks like the legislature being passed was on Joe's way out of the door. Hunter will be a thorn in Joe's side from this point on.

Trump making money privately and feeding his jackal children is one thing. Using the power of office to financially benefit family is another. Trump doesn't want to leverage money at this point. His narcissism needs to be fed flattery and power.

I think Trump has some real dirt on Joe. However, I think there is some weird Freudian s**t going on with Trump. He was always a disgrace to his father, so his idea of getting even is to publically humiliate people, or even better, to ruin them. I find it ironic because I do not see Joe being the last man standing next Spring. I think Warren, Pete, or Bloomberg are all more likely contenders. Bloomberg vs Trump would be epic. I think this Biden s**t is another Trump Ready Fire Aim mission, however politics isn't the goal, humiliation is.

Do you not find it humorous that Trump's go to tactic are insults and bullying. He knows that when people get infuriated with him, they lose control and composure and that is his win. There is truly something wrong with a sitting president that singles out individual Americans.

A lot of financial institutions benefited from the bailouts, which began under the previous administration. The bailouts were essential for preventing a literal depression, like it or not.

I don’t give two shts if Biden or his son are investigated for a sound reason beyond conspiracy theories. As was ask and answered in the hearings no one can name one law either domestic or foreign that either one has broken and neither one has a history of criminality. Embarrassingly for the country the same can’t be said for prez Never Truthful. He has lied, cheated, sexually assaulted, grifted, and stolen his entire life and continues to do so as president* while republicans turn a blind eye, shine his shoes, and take turns kissing his ass.

Remember when the Obama team pressured Ukraine to stop investigating his hero, George Soros? Why? Because he was a Hillary (and Obama) donor/supporter. Nahh, who cares about that when we have fantasy time with Lt. General Flounder et al. It was light years more intrusive than any phone call that Trump had with the UKRs. Some familiar names too! Enjoy. (and I want credits for using leftie sources, haha)

US Embassy pressed Ukraine to drop probe of George Soros group during 2016 election

While the 2016 presidential race was raging in America, Ukrainian prosecutors ran into some unexpectedly strong headwinds as they pursued an investigation into the activities of a nonprofit in their homeland known as the Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC).

The focus on AntAC — whose youthful street activists famously wore “Ukraine F*&k Corruption” T-shirts — was part of a larger probe by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office into whether $4.4 million in U.S. funds to fight corruption inside the former Soviet republic had been improperly diverted.

The prosecutors soon would learn the resistance they faced was blowing directly from the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, where the Obama administration took the rare step of trying to press the Ukrainian government to back off its investigation of both the U.S. aid and the group.

“The investigation into the Anti-Corruption Action Center (sic), based on the assistance they have received from us, is similarly misplaced,” then-embassy Charge d’ Affaires George Kent wrote the prosecutor’s office in April 2016 in a letter that also argued U.S. officials had no concerns about how the U.S. aid had been spent.

At the time, the nation’s prosecutor general had just been fired, under pressure from the United States, and a permanent replacement had not been named.

A few months later, Yuri Lutsenko, widely regarded as a hero in the West for spending two years in prison after fighting Russian aggression in his country, was named prosecutor general and invited to meet new U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

Lutsenko told me he was stunned when the ambassador “gave me a list of people whom we should not prosecute.” The list included a founder of the AntAC group and two members of Parliament who vocally supported the group’s anti-corruption reform agenda, according to a source directly familiar with the meeting.

It turns out the group that Ukrainian law enforcement was probing was co-funded by the Obama administration and liberal mega-donor George Soros. And it was collaborating with the FBI agents investigating then-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s business activities with pro-Russian figures in Ukraine.

The implied message to Ukraine’s prosecutors was clear: Don’t target AntAC in the middle of an America presidential election in which Soros was backing Hillary Clinton to succeed another Soros favorite, Barack Obama, Ukrainian officials said.

“We ran right into a buzzsaw and we got bloodied,” a senior Ukrainian official told me.

From about the 37 minute mark until about 2:30:00, this is a great watch. The opening statements by Holmes and Hill along with questioning by the Dem are amazing. Later when Nunes comes on, it's downright pathetic.

If I recall correctly, he essentially added to his previous confessions. Anyone who doesn't see the value of these hearings has their head in the sand. I say this with full knowledge that he probably won't be removed. These hearings have enabled competent honorable government stewards to quash conspiracy theories put forth by the Republican Trumpocracy. Trump's rant is nothing more than birtherism revisited. The case against him will continue to build, even though we are apparently done with the hearings.
