Time magazine is a magazine. It touts their opinion of who is the most newsworthy person each year. Don’t get it confused with the Nobel Prize.“Newsworthy person”

“Newsworthy person”I'll be first in line to call the media when you stand up and give a speech to the UN. To me, that's pretty courageous and newsworthy.

So you don’t support gun control? So you don't support self-control?

So you don't support self-control?Of course, I support self-control. Weird question, but ok. My question was in response to Poppja saying:
Really? I don’t live in a huge house in a guarded community or have ever asked anyone to give up their guns. This is just more lying bs.
Now, let’s see if my question gets answered. My question was, do you poppja support gun control since you have never asked anyone to give up their guns? Are you speaking for poppja now?

Of course, I support self-control. Kind of a silly question. My question was in response to Poppja saying:You seem to think supporting gun control is synonymous with advocating surrender of all firearms, am I right? I ask because I am in favor of some forms of gun control, but I also think that most law abiding citizens should be allowed to own guns, but not necessarily any and all types of guns. I'm not sure why you think poppaj's statement would be a lie, even for someone who supports certain forms of gun control. I have met a few people who think people should be allowed to own machine guns, bazookas, rocket launchers, and mortar launchers, and anti-aircraft missiles, but they are the exceptions. I don't stand with those folk. Does that mean I've asked people to give up their guns? I don't think so. Anyhow, I think I've answered your question and then some. In conclusion, I can say without any conflict that I support some form of gun control, but have never in my life asked or expected anyone to give up their guns. I suspect that poppaj shares this very common point of view, but would prefer not to speak for him definitively. My remark about your self-control stems from the fact that sometimes your remarks don't make a whole lot of sense, you don't seem to be able to engage in meaningful conversation, and you say some really weird s**t

Weird. The rest of America thinks about banning assault weapons and semi-automatics. You don’t seem to be able to follow simple logic. If anyone wants to ban assault weapons or semi-automatics, they are in fact asking citizens to give up their guns.

Michael D'Antonio, Trump biographer, re the House Intelligence Committee report (I can't say it better than this):
"As revealed in the report, Giuliani, Nunes, Pence, Perry, Pompeo and Mulvaney are glaring examples of the kind of behavior Americans fear is common at the upper reaches of power. They are depicted in the report as people of poor character who are devoted to winning by any means necessary. (All of them have denied wrongdoing and have contended their actions were proper.)Your character is what you do when no one is looking. It is driven by virtues like honesty, respect for others, reverence for the law. All of these people appear to lack these virtues. They've gone around doing manipulative and deceptive things and striven to keep them secret."
"That they made their way to power is no surprise given who Trump is. Like attracts like in this case. Besides, who else was Trump going to draw near? In rare cases where he has attracted top talent like James Mattis and Gary Cohn, he has been unable to keep them. The ones who stick are the ones who have been tested and shown themselves either to be weaklings or suck-ups who are OK with schemes, conspiracy theories and lies.
These events are tragic for the country, tragic for the individual plotters and their families and tragic for the GOP. Redemption for the country lies in the truth -- and impeachment."
Two words are missing in the last quoted sentence, in my estimation: and removal.

You can’t take Schiff seriously?
Nunes tells Schiff he needs 'rehabilitation' after IG report: 'Admit you have a problem'
SoWal Insider
What is the matter with you people? Adam Schiff is doing the job he swore an oath to perform. He is defending the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Do you really want other countries to be able to interfere with our elections? Do you understand what that means? Can you picture the oligarchs in Russia, China, Ukraine, Etc. basically paying to make sure their puppets gets elected to run the government of the United States? This is what is happening. This is not a witch hunt. This is not a hoax. Trump has been caught in a major abuse of power that has ramifications way beyond this impeachment. Stop defending a totalitarian, or we all lose.

Yet, Mueller said no America collaborated with the Russians. The memo he put out in response to Nunes Fisa abuse memo was discredited by the IG report. He railed against a partisan impeachment just a few years ago.
SoWal Insider
He is frustrated because quite obviously the Republican Senate is willing to let this country become a totalitarian regime. The congress and the judiciary are suppose to be safeguards against one branch of government taking over control permanently. Obviously, you are OK with the oligarchs controlling everything.

Do you not see it? Schiff made an error saying he had evidence of collusion. But in this case he had 17 very credible witnesses corroborating everything about the president’s abuse of power. Trump tried to extort a foreign government to influence our elections. Period.

Both Kamala Harris and Michael Horowitz agree that the law should be changed to make it easier for the inspector general to investigate the attorney general. Watch, and it becomes apparent that Trump would rather see Ms. Harris back on the campaign trail.

Some Jewish groups, including the Anti-Defamation League, have expressed their support.

Harris’s face is priceless.

'Trump has made us weak': Paul Krugman says the US-China trade deal achieved almost nothing and consumers and farmers paid the price | Markets Insider
Twice the size of the auto bailout
The upshot is that "farmers have suffered, with a number going bankrupt, despite a bailout *twice the size of Obama's auto bailout,*" he tweeted.
