You are told, and you believe, that Soleimani is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans. You believe this because Trump tells you so. Can you name a single such American victim? Just one American’s name, even now? Can Trump?

Speaking of Trump, had you ever heard him mention Soleimani before his death? This supposed worst enemy of the nation, one deserving of risking war to kill him, did you hear Trump once tweet about him? Even a single word? I’ll answer this one for you. You did not. In his entire life President Trump publicly mentioned Soleimani only once. The context was even more concerning. In 2015 a reporter asked Trump about Soleimani and Trump responded complaining about the “gotcha questions” because he had no idea who Soleimani was.

This nation could be rushing towards a war over the death of a man you had never heard once of before this week. Today he is an international super-villain, worth risking war over. Bigger than bin Laden, so you are told. A week ago you did not know he existed.

I am not saying Soleimani was a good guy. Perhaps he really was the uber-arch terrorist fiend you have been told over the last few days that he was.

I am saying that you should soberly reflect on how quickly you have accepted a narrative, from a dishonest administration, potentially driving us to war. Give pause as to how quickly you have found yourself marching in lockstep to the sudden drumbeats of war.

Our President will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate," Trump said in a November 2011 video on his YouTube channel.

"He's weak, and he's ineffective," Trump added. "So I believe that he will attack Iran sometime prior to the election, because he thinks that's the only way he can get elected."

Speaking on the Sean Hannity radio program in January 2012, Trump predicted "some kind of a war" with Iran prior to that year's election.



"I say that he starts a war in Iran before the election, which will make it very hard for the Republican to win," Trump said. "He'll start a war, you know, lives will be wasted for no reason."

"I think it's going to happen sometime prior to the election. There'll be some kind of a war started," added Trump.

On Fox News' On the Record in February 2012 Trump said it was "pretty sad" to say, but said Obama would go to war nonetheless.

"I've said before, I think Obama will go to war with Iran because I think he views it as good politically," Trump said. "That's pretty sad and it's a pretty sad thing to have to say, but I think he will absolutely go to war with Iran. I think he views that as a positive from a political standpoint, and I think he's just waiting for the right moment."

Speaking on the Laura Ingraham Show in April 2012, Trump repeated his prediction. "I happen to think that the president is going to start a war with Iran," said Trump. "I think it'll be a short term popular thing to do. And I think he's going to do that for political reasons."



Trump made the same prediction on Fox News' Justice with Judge Jeanine that month.

"In my opinion, Obama will start a war," Trump said. "For about three weeks it'd be very popular about, by the way, six months later he'll be very unpopular, but by that time it's too late."

"Well, I think that he would do it," Trump continued. "I do believe he will do it -- whether he does it under the guise of Israel or not -- but I do believe he would do it. I've been making that prediction. Let's see what happens. Many of my predictions, as you know better than anybody have come true."

Don Jr. and Eric have just enlisted in the Army to lead the way in protecting America. Ivanka has volunteered into nursing and Melania will sign nude photos for the boys. Trump will give new tax cuts to the wealthy and claims Mexico will pay for the war.

What about “winning the war” ? Should we invade and occupy Iran, or take a fall and let Russia come in and seize the day?

A Serious Question For Those Quickly Marching To The Drumbeats Of War

Nawres Hamid, 33, became a naturalized citizen in 2017, according to his widow. He was the father of two boys, ages 2 and 8. He was the Contractor killed.

Willful ignorance on full display, it wasn’t an early withdrawal. The troop reduction was honoring an agreement made between GWB and the Iraqi people. It was a Status of Forces Agreement.

Is he worth starting a war over?

Nobody is starting a War, but YES, he deserves our protection and there must be consequences for attacking or killing Americans. There will be no prolonged ground war in Iran.
