It seems to me, the wave of new evidence that is emerging, could be used by Senate GOPers to save face and do the right thing. They could say the House evidence was “weak” but these “new revelations have opened my eyes”. I also believe in the Easter Bunny.No matter what happens during the impeachment trial, it won't be the end of it. Odds are that Trump won't be removed, but undoubtedly throughout the year there will be revelations that will continue shed light on the unspeakable amount of corruption coming out of the Trump administration. An acquittal is not going to help Trump politically at all. I think this is just the beginning, and if acquittal emboldens him, there is no reason he can't be impeached yet again.
