I had an amazing time. It was surreal to me at times. When I laid eyes on Miss Kitty and Gotothebeachmom, I was like a school girl. Screaming and hugging..it was wonderful. They are both precious people. Miss Kitty was such a gracious host to me and my friend. She did make me make my own coffee though. Next I met all the girls at Amore'...Tootsie, IBD, Little IBD, Cork and sunshine, Destindreamin and her Mr. DD, Allifunn (I hope I didn't forget anyone). Loved, loved them all....After Amore' we went to GTTBM's beautiful house and I got to meet her family and Bailey and Guiness. It too was wonderful. Spent time on the beach with DD and Mr. DD, I really enjoyed that. The next folks I got to meet were the Merpeople. So absolutely adorable. Went to the Red Bar to eat dinner with the GTTBM's family, the Mers, and Miss Kitty. We are standing in the Red Bar waiting to be seated, and I had on my kathydwells sweat shirt. I saw a lady staring at me, and she inched her way over to where I was standing. She walked up to me and said "Are you really kathydwells?" I told her I was and of course I asked who she was. It was dbuck......what a sweetheart, thank you dbuck for coming up to me. It was such a pleasure meeting you and your husband. After a wonderful dinner we headed out for the the treak to the bonfire. We walked and walked. Luckily we had a light because Miss kitty stole a tiki torch off the beach that had just been used for a wedding. Well actully she just borrowed it. So we get to the bonfire and all the folks are dressed up like Miss Kitty. OMG, we all laughed and laughed, it was classic, and you all looked amazing! I was look around to see who all I could recognize. I spotted the Otter family right off. (Oh, and just so all of you know. I pm'd Otter the morning that I was leaving and I did tell him I was coming, because I wanted to make sure that he and his family would be at the Soiree and I for sure didn't want to miss them, cat out of the bag. He kept my secret and I am proud of him. Thank you Riv-o). The Otter family is wonderful. I am so glad I got to meet all of you. I know I am going to forget someone that I met but I am going to try and list everyone. Mr. and Mrs. Skunkape, Franny, Steeling1, Grayton kid, Steele Mama, Mango, I missed LL and I was so dissappointed he had just left before we got there. It was awesome. Had a wonderful lunch with SJ, Miss Kitty and my girlfriend Elaine that came with me. It was so nice. Elaine loved meeting all of you too, she had a great time. I squeezed alot out a short time and loved every single minute of it. This needs to be an annual event for sure!!! You all did a great job in making my weekend special.

OH, Daddy-O...you missed a great party. And to think you stayed home to watch your team fall. I am sorry!!!!!

You DO know I almost beat Miss Kitty black and blue when she finally (at the last 11th hour no less ;-) ) told Merman and me you were arriving. That was the best secret and the best surprise about you coming to SoWal. I love a woman with a great big belly laugh like you, Darlene!

gttbm, that meanie grinch Kitty told us only minutes before Darlene's ETA. That's why she nearly got beat black and blue. ;-)
