Whaddya think? Is it another six weeks of winter? :( Or an early spring?

I'm voting for an early spring. I can already see hosta and day lilies trying to force their way up through the earth. I wanna see some tulips, soon!

Sorry, but last time I checked...it's not even winter yet up here. We're all holding our breath so let's say winter never comes and we go straight to spring. Ok?

Yes- let's move on to spring! Everything is popping up here too. We haven't really had much of a winter though. I can count on one hand the number of times I have worn a heavy coat. And the yard certainly has not frozen solid yet!!

I did take a bunch of cuttings from red twig dogwoods, put them in vases, and they are leafing out now. Very springy!

I am loving this weather and would like to have it year round!!! perfect!!! sunny and slightly cool, never cold or hot!

but personally, I like to hibernate in the winter time when its really cold and dreary and I haven't had a chance to do that yet! you know - read by the fire, cook stews and chilli, watch back to back movies, and even bundle up for a cold afternoon at the beach. so, I'm hoping that a real winter will appear before spring arrives. it can be a real short winter, but we need some cold weather to enjoy the fireplace more, and to kill a few skeeters, etc.

summertime heat is starting to get to me more each year. I am just starting to experience those lovely hot flashes, so I can't imagine summertime just yet!!! help!!!

 I have forgotten about doing this. (Lived in the South too long I guess.) We used to bring in Forsythia and Pussywillows when we lived in colder areas. I have a beautiful Hellebore and daffodils blooming - outside.

No sun through the dense fog (which is unusual here) this morning. No ground hog here either. :idontno:

Daffodils? That is a cheery spring time thought.😀

I haven't seen our groundhog today- there is one that lives at the back of the neighbor's yard and we can see him from the kitchen. He's a big ol' fatty.
