Oh heck. Can we stick to 'dulcet?" It has such a lovely harmonious aura to it. Once when I was young and sweet and svelte some Lothario said my voice was of dulcet tones and I''m sure he wanted to get in my pants but that part is forgotten. The compliment is remembered. ;-)

Mother Nature and Father Time have a way of ridding lives of people with compliments loaded with ulterior motives

DD has imbued me with a true appreciation of the English language. I don't feel so louche, and look foward to hearing more dulcet leitmotiefs in the near future. How'd I do teach?

Did anyone else have weekly vocab quizzes in English?

We used to have to learn 10 words a week - you got the words monday and had a spelling/definition test every friday, w/ a cumulative test every so often so you didn't forget them.

Pastiche and dulcet were both on the list.
