September 4, 2025 by SoWal Staff
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and the St. Joe Community Foundation are turning up the volume at Watersound Town Center this fall with a free, family-friendly concert series on the first Friday of September, October, and November.
Guests are invited to enjoy live music under the stars on September 5, October 3, and November 7 from 6–8 p.m. at The Pavilion at Watersound Town Center, 85 Origins Main St. Each evening will showcase talented regional and national musicians, with additional artists to be announced in the coming weeks.
The series kicks off on Friday, September 5, featuring co-headliners Grayson Capps and the Kristy Lee Trio, bringing soulful performances that promise to set the tone for an unforgettable season of music.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their chairs, coolers, and dancing shoes for nights filled with great tunes, good vibes, and community connection. Food options will also be available for purchase.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the St. Joe Community Foundation to create a vibrant space for music, art, and community gatherings,” said Allie Anderson, Cultural Arts Alliance Events Director. “This series brings people together to celebrate the creative spirit that makes Walton County so special.”
Adding to the excitement, the October 3 concert will also feature an Art Bazaar, opening at 4 p.m. before the music begins. The public is invited to shop and support local artists and makers offering a variety of unique, original works—making it the perfect way to connect with creativity and kick off an evening of music.
To close out the season, November’s concert will expand into a full day of music and art. On Sunday, November 9, The Pavilion at Watersound Town Center will once again host the CAA’s beloved Flutterby Arts Festival.
Mark your calendar for this celebration of creativity, community, and the magical Monarch migration! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy hands-on art, live performances, student art exhibits, a whimsical butterfly parade, and more at this much-loved children’s arts festival. Free and family-friendly, Flutterby is the perfect Sunday outing. New this year, the festival will expand to include a Holiday Artist Market designed to help you jump start your holiday shopping with locally crafted treasures for everyone on your list.
Parking, including accessible parking, will be available on-site. All events are free and open to the public. Some Flutterby Festival activities require tickets, which can be purchased at the CAA welcome and information tents within the event.
