For nearly 14 years, Resort Resale on Hwy 98 in SoWal has been an excellent resource for locals,  second homeowners and rental owners. And recently it's gotten even better!

The cavernous store houses all manner of gently-used, high-end furniture, rugs, decor, and art - enough to furnish many homes. If you've never been to Resort Resale, or haven't been in lately, be sure to stop by ASAP - new owners and long-time locals Mark and Jill Tanner have made quite a lot of changes and improvements in only a month since buying the biz.

Here's the scoop: The Tanners know just about everyone in town and for many years have owned and operated a successful marketing and design company, Clutch Media Works.

Clutch was hired by the former owner of Resort Resale to help with store marketing and branding. When Mark and Jill found out the owner was open to selling, the more they learned the more excited they got so they pounced on the opportunity.

Mark and Jill were intrigued by a new and exciting challenge, but also are eager to put their own stamp on the ever-evolving business. They decided to jump in with both feet and make it their own.

There really is nothing like Resort Resale anywhere else in the area and the demand for consignment is steady in South Walton. With the real estate and rental market booming, new locals and vacation rental owners are constantly in search of new furnishings.
