DwightFest, a non-profit 2-day music festival created for giving back to those who make our paradise possible, is set for Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8.
Performances by Paul Thorn & Joanna Cotten + their bands, along with other 13 other acts are scheduled. Food trucks, beverage stations & merchandise will be onsite for your enjoyment.
Rinse off the old and welcome the new! South Walton Fire District will hold its 10th Annual Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s Day at Ed Walline Public Beach Access.
In-person sign-up starts at 11 a.m. at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar on January 1, 2024, which will be followed by a costume contest at 12 p.m., and the Plunge itself at 1 p.m.

The 12th Annual 30A St. Patrick's Parade is set for 3pm on March 16th, 2019. The free-to-enter parade anticipates a record number of floats and parade entries, in all shapes and sizes. The parade begins on Florida Scenic Highway 30A near "The Preserve" just west of Grayton Beach and heads 4 miles west, ending at Gulf Place. The Inaugural 30A Craft Beer & Spirits Festival will be at Gulf Place on Sep 30 and Oct 1, 2016. Formerly known as The Destin Beer Festival, the popular and tasty event has attracted over 1,000 craft beer & spirits lovers to our area each year with 100% of the proceeds benefiting local nonprofit organizations. This year the benefiting charity will be the beloved Seaside School Foundation.
