Heads up to Brickyard residents.....

Apparently the condos at the Inn at Blue Mountain Beach will be putting up a gate on Blue Lupine Road to keep people from using the access between them and the Retreat. It's happening...look at your closing papers and see if you have anything about deeded beach access to that point. I suspect some people do.

Not sure but deeded beach access has to be on the deed. Or an official addendum or part of a recorded subdivision?

I think you're right, on the deed. I wasn't clear at all, sorry.

This is going to get messy.

IIRC the brickyard and the village of Blue Mountain have rightful access through there.

I know the Village does through the HOA. I'm raising this issue for Brickyard residents to check their deeds. This access will be fob-controlled. Easier to address before gate is built.

From what I understand, this gate is on hold for now. Does anyone else know more? Thanks.

I’d say build the gate and answer questions later...... Government Has NO Control.....

Great attitude. Do you also like walls?

Any update on this?
Yes, many. I'm super busy this weekend but, in short, the Inn has gated the road but not the pedestrian access. For all those interested, please sign the below petition to stop this egregious, and illegal, blocking of our rights to use the walkover and beach easement.....

Although I am not on Facebook, a neighbor named Sam DeWeese has started a FB group about the Blue Lupine access in Blue Mountain Beach. I cannot help you access that but I'm sure a search on that site would point you in the right direction.

If you are local and/or a homeowner in BMB, this affects you directly. It also should matter to everyone in SoWal as these rights and accesses are continually being taken away!! Please step up and join us, people!
