It is so gratifying to see our friends Marianne and Erik recognized and celebrated recently for the Seaside Prize. The Seaside Institute has awarded architects far and wide over the years, and it is special to have it local. Having watched Alys Beach grow from groundbreaking to near completion, I am in awe of the duo, Alys Beach construction, and every single person who has contributed to the creation of the town.
