Tourist Development Tax collection for August 2026

Tourist Development Tax collection showed a 1.05% increase in South Walton for August 2026 compared with the previous year. Total collections for August in South Walton were $6,313,866.62. FY26 YTD (OCT-AUG) South Walton is up 9.51% in TDT collections.

TDT collection on short-term rental accommodations north of the Choctawhatchee Bay totaled $26,563.90 for August 2026. Collections for August in North Walton represent a 11.08% increase, or $2,206.64, compared with the previous year. FY26 YTD (OCT-AUG) North Walton is up 2.37% in TDT collections.

As of Oct. 14, the number of active rental units in the South Walton taxing district was 19,337, and the North Walton taxing district was 852 for a total of 20,189.
