The Regis and Kelly show will still be taped in their studio, however, a representative either from their show or a local news agency will be reporting live from Panama City Beach via Satellite.
Regis is in the hospital recovering today from his triple by-pass. Kelly is doing the show with guest co-host Anderson Cooper. They will be in the studio, and talking to a 'screen' with a delay to whomever the reporter on the scene will be.
Monday was Miami. Tuesday was Daytona. Wednesday will be Panama City Beach.
Regis goes to the gym 7 days a week. He eats right. And he is in the hospital with a triple bypass. Hmmmm
Eat right. Stay fit. Die anyway.
I've always said exercise is bad for you. Now pass the ribs and open a cold one!:drink:

drunkenartist, you are full of useful info. Thanks for the correction. Maybe the News Ch 13 out of Panty Maw City will be giving the feed, because it was their news show where I heard this yesterday. Anderson Cooper would be a good choice for the guest co-host for this show because he grew up coming to vacation in this area.

However they keep referring to it as Panama City. Not a real crime, but Panama City and Panama City Beach are two completely different cities, two different governments, two completely different groups/type of people.
I cannot tell you how many people from Panama City that will not go to Panama City Beach because they refer to it as the city of sin! They won't even cross Hathaway Bridge. My own mother-in-law will only cross the bridge to go to Marriot Bay Point to see her daughter, grand and great grand children. Straight down Thomas Drive and straight back, no-where else on the Beach though, can't be bothered.
Panama City has a church on every corner.
Panama City Beach has a bar on every corner.
Needless to say I prefer the beach.:chill:

The guys answered the door, just waking up, and one of them had a beer in his hand. Can't drink all day if you don't start when you wake up.

Cracked me up. You could tell the kids were not from here. If they were local there might have been a meth lab in the room! 😱 Just Kidding.
We've got some guy complaining, saying that we need to dis-invite the Spring Breakers. Yeah. That makes a lot of sense. Lets tell 300,000 people that they are NOT WELCOME HERE.
Those 300,000 will grow up, have kids, and bring their families here. They will rent nice condos and be civilized. They may even buy condos as second homes.
Their children will come here for Spring Break, because they already know the area from coming here with their families.
And the cycle continues.
But all of that doesn't matter. For a few weeks of the year, dispite the millions of dollars they bring, that support the community for the whole year, lets TELL THEM THEY ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!😱
I think he needs to move back across the bridge and live in Panama City.

That's nothing we had 12 girls staying in a 2 bedroom, and we DID NOT have inflatable mattresses. Of course, we didn't need the beds much, becuase we didn't sleep for a week. 😀

:chill: Sounds like you had just a little funn, kddub! Wish all my growin' up peeps in Norcross and Chamblee GA had known about sowal beaches back in the 70's. I bet they were even more beautiful then! We woulda thunk sumpin' up to get here! The Chattahoochee River was pretty funn to hang out on as well. I wanna hear from some natives and ole timer visitors...Hey new thread idea....what were sowal beaches like back then?
