Not counting being on the beach swimming or sunning or strolling, what do you always do while you're on 30-A? Almost like a tradition?
For us,
1. Ride our bikes every morning on the path for at least an hour.
2. Watch the outdoor movies at Seaside and Rosemary Beach (summer)
3. Check out what's new at the art galleries and little gift shops like LilyPads.
We never not do those things--to us, that's what vacation is!

2. Blue Mountain salad with catch-of-the-day and house dressing at the bar at Shades, with one of Patrick's margaritas.
3. Either Cafe 30-A or Borago or Bud & Alley's - depends on my mood. This is one choice since it's an "or."

It's interesting though - some people love Shades, and some people can't stand it. Actually I don't really like the table service there. It's much better at the bar. But, in terms of service and ambiance, the same is true of Borago.

Picky! Picky! Picky! You have to pay attention to the nuances. The emphasis is on the favorite things you always do, like you can't leave the beach until you've done them because it's what makes your vacation!
