Any ideas, or what do you do? I see from SoWal.com on the events page that Baytowne Wharf is having a 1st night celebration with fireworks. What else's up?

Was is foie gras, or cow liver? There is a big difference, and those French do love their foie gras (as does someone else I know whom I see in the mirror everyday). Maybe the restaurant received a big discount on buying the liver. sounds gross.
Oh yes, it was foie gras (Mr. Kitty LOVES that), but used in more than one course! I am not dissing their food preparation, only their choice to feed it to folks without a choice! Like, I LOVE escargot, but Mr. K would have skipped that one!!!

Nice dinner out
OK, the talk of Borago yesterday made me think of a question--for a nicer, maybe-get-a-little-dressed-up dinner in SoWal, where do you go? And what do you order there?

There was much liver that night.😱
Thanks for the tip! We do have a picky eater among us (nothing green, thank you!) so some further due diligence is in order.

wink wink...maybe you can go back to your favorite restaurant now!!!!! I hope to get brave enough to go back and try their regular menu though.

SJ and Mermaid, we have some fun times in The Grove - we have been know to do a little "porch dancing", we watch tv football on the porch, we play dominoes (we call them domies) on the porch - we do love out porch.
Why, Bubba (whitey's avitar) has been know to take a "porch nap" and get his picture in the NWFla Dailey news.
I'm sure there will be some "porch dancing" on NYE - woo hoo!!!

Another question about New Year's Eve...Our son and his wife are bringing another fun loving couple and a single, very eligible (and most handsome, Kimmifunn!) friend (all mid 20's) to SoWal for New Year's. They are thinking of the late seating at Red Bar and then the 331. Is that the best plan for them?
Any other ideas?

If they can get a table at the last seating that's best because they can keep that table through all the rucus! We will all be there in full force.
Any other ideas?
No tell me more about this handsome single boy....
