These microstorms are moving quickly, about 30 mph. Sky is overcast now, but not as dark as a moment ago. The storm approaching Rosemary has moved more east and is around the WalCo and BayCo line. Look out Wild Heron. Get the grounds crew ready to pick up limbs and pine cones.

Now we have white clouds. 😀

Whew...this reminding me of the first Gulf War, when we were glued to the TV watching those bombs! There is nothing more scary to me than those warning sirens....so glad we have them, but so very eerie!

Steeleing1 and Grayton Kid had to turn around before they got to the bay when they heard the Warning. Now they are back on their merry way and hopefully safe.

Did anyone just get whacked by the tornado in SoWal??? See any damage??? There is another one headed for the east end of 30-A in about 15 min (8:15am)

It was pretty scary-looking in RB, and there was hail! When we left for Beach Java, we turned down a street in RB and had to backtrack because the street was completely flooded.

Did someone say "flooded"?
I could use an Ark right now over here by Indian Pass.

I hear reports of an overturned truck on Hwy 98 near Hwy 393, and the same up 331 near Freeport.

Not to worry, Steele Mama. Steeleing1 and Grayton Kid sought shelter at our house. Nothing like morning coffee, good friends, and tornado warnings to get your day going.

Is it still storming down there? It looked nasty down south on the radar...but I wasn't sure.

Still mostly cloudy with spots of blue sky. Temp still warm at around 64F. Winds around 10 mph, and cold air on the way.

Peapod, it looks like you're bringing in your 40th with a bang. This will be a vacation you will always remember (and remember to take pictures--your kids won't believe it!).
