Walton County residents and teens are invited to sign up for one of two eight-week emergency training sessions offered by Walton County?s Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.). Residents living near Freeport can start training on November 13 at the Freeport Community Center at 6:00 p.m. Residents in the DeFuniak Springs area may wish to sign up for training on November 18 at Northwest Florida State College, Building 2, Room 214 at 6:00 p.m.[/SIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Emergency training is free and will provide citizens with CPR certification, first aid and basic triage as well as basic fire safety.
