Thanks, Kurt. It's interesting to see photos of the changes in the Seacrest Beach area. A lot has been happening and I'm looking forward to the construction moving along so that it can get quieter at Fonville Press (one of my new favorite places -- nice to have a coffee/pastry shop so close).

Did you know the coffee in the Fonville Press is roasted in Freeport?

I was told at Fonville that the pastries are from Birmingham! Still, the pastries and atmosphere are special. Will go back often.

I just know the atmosphere there is so nice, with the exception that it can be noisy during the day because of the construction right now. I'm happy that it's within walking distance of our cottage.

The interesting thing that I don't get about Alys Beach is what is on their website looks quite different than what is being built. On alysbeach.com the renderings seem to depict open spaces with lots of greenery, etc. Looking at what is under construction, I can't envision it. Everything looks so close together with small alleys. I assume it'll end up like the renderings and it will be interesting to watch the progress.
