Park Details
The Walton County Bark Park is a two-acre, fully fenced off-leash dog park in which dogs are free to run, bark, and play. It is located on J.D. Miller Road, about a quarter-mile north off Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach. Although the Walton County government owns the land, the park program is run by a group of dedicated volunteers from an organization called Bark Park, Inc.

The park is divided into two sections: one section for small paws and the other for our larger pawed members.

Just went there yesterday morning!!! It's a fantastic place - our dog had a ball! It was fun for him to explore all the new smells and catch a strange ball. Thank you Bark Park!!!

(the kids had a great time too - as we were the only ones there and they got to run around as well! :D)

Bark Park is every dog's dream

My boyfriend and I took his black lab mix puppy last night to bark Park for a play date with a new friend. Man what a great time he had. There were so many super nice dogs all having a lot of fun. I met some nice dog owners too. What a great idea to have such a place where dogs can run without a leash and just be dogs. Our puppy's name is Cochise, after a famous Indian Chief. Cochise was worn out from running and playing and when he crashed after getting home, I could have sworn he was smiling. Thanks Bark park.

Bark Park is awesome but please please be careful. Dogs can get heat exhaustion! I thought it was terrific that Juno got so worn out from playing until I talked to a friend that lost her Lab after playing all day with the kids in the heat. Now I watch her real careful cuz bless her heart, she doesn't know when to quit. I think she'd jump up in the middle of death to chase a ball.

Unconditional love for fur friends!
