Hotels Near I-10/DeFuniak Springs

Greetings,

Our family will be traveling to SoWal in a couple of weeks (woo hoo!) and we have decided to come down on Friday night instead of getting into a lot of traffic on Saturday.

Since we will arrive late at night, could anyone recommend a nice, clean, safe hotel near I-10? We are really looking for something easy to get in and out of and back on the road to get to the beach early on Saturday.

I found one hotel, the Comfort Inn in DeFuniak Springs near I-10. Any opinions on this hotel?

i was a consultant for the comfort inn and can tell you only that its new. Im sure itll be just fine for a night. But, with 331 being widened id recommend you just drive the additional 40 minutes or so to the beach. Enjoy

331 is still one lane each way - just on new pavement. :roll:

I assume this is a question due to a saturday check-in time?

There is a Best Western with a restaurant/lounge right at 331 and I-10
