It's 12:37pm and I hear lots of sirens in SGB

Surf looked pretty aggressive this morning. I thought to myself...someone will be in trouble today. I hope that's not the case.

Apparently a family wandered too far into the Gulf in the Lakewood area and had trouble getting back to shore around that time. They had a float and a kayaker went out and pulled them in. We were walking out on to the beach (at Eastern Shores) as the WCSO truck and lifeguard 4Wheeler went by. I walked down in that direction and another witness told me what had happened. Everyone was okay. Needless to say, the lifeguard changed the flag from yellow to red while he was there.
