Hey everyone! I haven't spent a lot of time checking to see if this has been posted, but, oh well, the more posts, the better...

Congressman Boyd is going to grace this part of his district with a visit!

Mark your calendars.

I am planning to be there, with just a few questions:

1. Where in the constitution does it indicate that the Federal government provide healthcare?
2. How would the Federal government REALLY pay for healthcare?
3. Has Congressman Boyd read the entire bill, himself? Not staffers, Him, alone.
4. Why did he vote for Cap and Tax??
5. (and finally, depending on how the first four questions go..) What does the Congressman plan on doing for a job after January 2011??

I'm NOT an overly political guy, but these yahoos are passing legislation that will fundamentally change the structure of this country, and this country, though not perfect, does NOT need this kind of tinkering.

See you there!
thanks!

I applaud Boyd's stand on healthcare but decry his support of Cap and Trade. I have a question or two I'd like to ask him and they aren't all on healthcare.

Allen Boyd's Town Hall Meeting is Back On!

Allen Boyd's Town Hall Meeting is Back On!

Panama City's radio talk show host, Bernie Thompson says that Alan Boyd's Town Hall Meeting is Back On! The twist is that it will be in the parking lot, after the panel discussion is over. They are planning on showing up from about 645pm-8pm to have the "meeting." Reporters will be there to see if Boyd shows up :floor: and they plan on getting the press out on national coverage. They are expecting 500-1000 people. (the panelist event inside on healthcare is supposedly issuing only 500 tickets.)

Oh, by the way, if you can't get your questions answered, be disruptive and loud that way no questions get answered, seems that is the choice for most of the Town Hall Meetings.

No, only the meetings that the media wants to sensationalize, I've watched 3 entire town hall meetings on C-Span which were very intelligent and informative on both sides of the "aisle" Did some people get passionate in their questions and statements? yes, but it was a far cry from the scenes from a few weeks ago. Some of us seem to enjoy keeping the flames of town hall "mobbery" going by revisiting it over an over.

supercollider, you don't stand a chance in hell at getting past question #1, but good luck. Hope the tazer doesn't hurt too much.

Don't taze me bro!
