It was quite a nature filled weekend just hanging out on the dock this weekend on the bayou. I was not able to capture photos of an eagle, or the opossum scaring the holy tomatoes out of me, or the alligators swimming by in the evening. One was definitely WallyGator! Caught a strange fish, an Alligator Gar, he was nearly 4 ft long, he went back in the water along with the catfish. Not the same fate for the fat mullet. Large 10-12 inch jellyfish I haven't yet identified were coming through all weekend. Then the coyote down at the corner on 98. What a special place we live in!

I thought cockroaches in the kitchen was bad, but those crabs look mad!

They definitely were menacing for a few minutes...then they were sweet as could be...after 3 or 4 minutes in the pan on each side!

Good grief, you have been busy! That guar thingie looks kinda scary too! The crabs look delicious though. You could probably catch most of your weekly protein easily from your dock my Lady Chill. I don't think I would want to go swimming from there though! ;-)

I would definitely not go swimming in there personally, but I have seen it!
Surely there are sharks in there. Murky water + humans + sharks + alligators = ChillPill happy ON the dock.
