Buy books for the library on Amazon.com

thanks for doing this SB44--great opportunity!

How was this list compiled??

I got it from the head librarian - she chose the books, I just put them in Amazon.

Bump!

Please add a library book or 2 to your next Amazon order!

Can we donate good condition old books that we don't use anymore?

Can we donate good condition old books that we don't use anymore?

Absolutely! Bring them on by the Library. Katie will evaluate and either add them to the collection, or put them in the Friends book sale -- either way, you're rid of the books and they go to a good cause. Others will enjoy them either way. It's our library, and is what we make of it.

Any more word about re-opening on Saturdays? Did any of those volunteers work out?

Can we donate good condition old books that we don't use anymore?

Yes - the next Friend's book sale is Feb 7th I believe.

Bump!

Just added more items to the Library's wish list!

We decided to place a children's book in memory of someone who just passed. I searched for a book that has special meaning for this particular person - it can be a hobby, occupation, etc.... Anyway, I am going to donate it and the library will put a label in the book saying "In Memory of _____, Given by ______"

I used to do this back home and didn't know they do it here as well. And they do indeed. Wonderful way to remember someone.

Thanks for bumping.
