I sure do miss the beautiful area along 30A. Cannot wait to move there. Wish me luck. The people are so friendly.

Good luck...just make sure to bring your own job and a sack full of $100 bills--or just bring a Penske rental truck full of $1,000 bills and you can forget the job.

Jobs are so over rated.

Here, let me finish that for you....

"Jobs are so over rated"...says Homeless Harry who lives in a broken down van under the 331 bridge subsisting on dog food and free government cheese.

His real name is Steve. He choose that life. The dog food has high levels of protein and he prefers it over fast food.

And that government cheese is good stuff! Much better than many places have!

ah, recollections of a memorable gathering, under the bridge on a warm summer eve... Shelly with a lovely gum'mint cheese fondue, warming in a slightly dented hubcap, and firm bits of dog food, both canned AND dry, mind you, on bent wire hangers for dipping.... how we laughed, and mocked those tied down to a mundane grind, such as minding a website.... selling real estate.... what golden (lab) days....

Best of luck and godspeed to you Heartbren!
As much as the nay sayers say... this area definitely has a lot to offer... there is a reason why we all choose to live here after all!
And if I were to have to live under a bridge... I would much prefer the 331 bridge to any bridge dealing with blizzard conditions... too much worry about cars sliding off and ruining dinner!

Thanks. I totally agree with you. I've been there several times (no under the 331 bridge) and fell in love with it and the people.

I just got finished moving my son from NOLA to Gulf Shores, he is so happy to be out of there. I fish under the 331 bridge sometimes, it is a lot better than the bridge over 90 and I10 in NOLA.
