The Walton Co. Primary Election Results are in, and one thing is clear. Commissioner Sara Comander defeated her well known opponent by a nearly 2-to-1 margin. The reason is simple, she was the lone dissenting vote in last month's preliminary discussions of the upcoming 2011 fiscal budget. Miss. Comander voted against a 20-percent property tax increase on already soaked taxpayers. Her fellow four commissioners need to get on the smart wagon. You vote for the increase, we (the majority of the electorate) will make sure you are defeated. We're tired being asked to pay the ambitions of spend happy liberal county commissioners, and the spend happy Sheriff Adkinson who knows nothing about cutting his budget... Be ready folks, put on your fiscal seatbelts. The Democrat in Republican clothing will have his hand on your wallet. And that's a true Capital Felony.
