Last weekend there was an earth mover on a pile of sand and the beach access beside the Seagrove condo building (I think the street is Seagrove Place, very near Goatfeather's II). The shower there was gone too (used to be where the earth mover was parked).
Anyone know what's going on there? Repairs to that storm drain area perhaps?

Yes, it is a repair of the existing storm outfall system that had been damaged and was undermining the existing access, dune system, and eroding the beach in rain events. It was becoming a health and saftey issue and should be finished in about a week if everything goes well.
