Pope Benedict XVI is looking to add an electric/solar powered Popemobile to the Vatican's list of green technology.

They already have a 2400 panel solar energy system mounted on Nervi hall (saving 80 tons of oil a year and cutting their carbon emissions in half) and are considering a solar farm on land they own north of Rome.
