When I was down there last month, Draper Lake was as full as I have ever seen it in my 60 years of having a home in SRB. Not only was it full but also much higher than the gulf due to the sand that had built up. I knew when it blew it was going to be big. The night we had the torrential rain before the snow storm was all it took. Too bad it happened in the middle of the night. I bet it was spectacular! Somehow, I managed to snag two shots from virtually the same spot and was able to stitch together this before and after collage!
