South Walton Ballfields

A couple of good articles on this issue:

Mr Malcolm Patterson seems to have a good grasp of this issue. Using TDC funds to draw visitors outside our target demographic seems counterproductive. But the need for fields for use by our local citizens is critical. Both baseball/softball and football/soccer fields are needed now. The new land and fields could be financed like the Helen McCall and Freeport projects were financed and the soccer fields could be ready for play fairly quickly. Youth programs are money well spent for the future.
