Does anyone know how to rid lawn of weed commonly called "Rattlesnake Grass"? We were told it came to us through pine straw from Florida. Our County Extension Agent told us he was not aware of anything that would rid the lawn and it is growing out of control with runners underground.
Need help please.

Sounds like you can try herbicide or manual pulling:

Thank you for the information. I don't think I will make a meal out of the weed although my husband had suggested that too.

If your still having trouble with the rattlesnake weed you can go to John Deere Landscape on Shannon Lane off of 393 South and pick up and bottle of this.

This should do the trick may take a couple of applications though.
