What a great time last week in Blue Mountain Beach- stayed at the Blue Mtn. Villas right on the beach. So enjoyed the entire experience. Great oysters at Snapperheads, wonderful food and music at Blue Orleans, relaxing times with beers in hand at Bud and Alley's. Fat Daddy's pizza delivery saved us one night from starvation. Mostly, just enjoyed soaking up sun (almost all days) and watching the ever changing surf. Thanks for all the insight and info- may not be able to get back in 2007 but will keep reading this forum to stay up to date.

Oh, yea- we used to dream each year of our trip to Destin but this surpasses that completely. Every day was truly lovely and new.

How was the beach at Blue Mountain Villas? I love that area but haven't been since the storms.

The beach was terrific- we had been watching it over the past few months on beach cam but were amazed at how well it has repaired itself. I have always loved how the beach and water are different everyday, sometimes every few hours. Better than anything on TV! I will post pictures later today.

On the Fat Daddy's Pizza- I really liked the thin crust best.

We went to Snapperheads on Thursday, same as you did, even though I had found out ahead of time that the Waco Ramblers were NOT playing that night (I had SO wanted to hear them). Ah, well- maybe next time. We went to Blue Orleans Thursday and Saturday- great both nights, lots of interesting people.
